History

Since the inception of the Strathgartney Equestrian Park in 1979, there have been numerous improvements, upgrades, and changes over the years. The first major work was done in 2000/2001 and again in 2017/2018. We are undertaking another big change in 2026 with the additions of onsite stabling and storage upgrades.

We are very grateful to have received funding from the 2023 Canada Games Legacy Fund to help this project get underway. While this has covered a significant amount of the funds needed to complete this project, there is still a gap to meet our total expenses incurred.

Sponsorship

There are a few sponsorship level options you can choose.

• A donation of $500 – your name will appear on a custom plaque mounted on the stall for one year.
• A donation of $1000 – your name will appear on a custom plaque mounted on the stall for 3 years.
• A donation up to $499 – your name will appear the sponsor wall at the park for one year.
• We are happy to discuss other donation options you may have in mind as well, such as in-kind donations of services, materials, equipment, etc.

This sponsorship directly supports continuing facility upgrades and maintenance, and rider development.
