About the EC Coaching Program…

The Program is developed in partnership with:

  • National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)
  • Coaching Association of Canada (CAC)
  • Sport Canada

The EC Coaching Program is committed to providing dedicated to providing coaches and instructors with the necessary tools to make the equestrian experience safe and enjoyable for all participants, horse and human, and to develop excellence in horsemanship.

The program strives to provide;

  • The highest standards of excellence in coaching practice.
  • A structure that allows applicable level and discipline specification.
  • Integration of a nationally recognized NCCP coaching education strategy.
  • Curriculum designed to improve performance & confidence of Canadian coaches and athletes.
  • Leadership in Long-Term Equestrian Development for widespread practice of good horsemanship.
  • The highest standards of safety and horse welfare.
