Island Horse Council Partners with HorseReg, A Leader in Delivering Sport Registration Technology
December 11, 2020

The Island Horse Council (IHC) and HorseReg (a division of Interpodia, a Canadian company and the leading provider of integrated registration to Canadian sporting organizations) today announced a strategic partnership that will create a digital framework for the sport of equestrian throughout Prince Edwards Island. The partnership will provide riders, coaches and officials with access to a simple and secure registration system for their IHC membership, along with several tools for safe sport compliance, volunteer management, merchandise, fundraising and much more.

The collaboration signifies a new beginning for IHC beyond an improved digital registration experience for its riders. With safe sport compliance tools and Covid-19 safety measures becoming increasingly important, this partnership extends the IHC utilization of a digital coach licensing model with criminal background checks and learning management system integrations, in addition to the creation of a live directory of coaches in good standing. HorseReg also provides a strict waiver and digital agreement collection that manages the registration of minors and third parties.

In short, Interpodia ensures a one-stop shop for sport organizations, unmatched in the industry. Interpodia continually invests in their registration technology and safe sport enhancements, such as the recent partnerships with Direct Pay Merchant Channels like WePay. Through the use of integration and automation, the coexistence of safe sport tools and membership management becomes reality.

“We could not be happier to partner with Island Horse Council to bring membership registration and safe sport tools to the PEI equestrian community, including clubs, organizations and affiliates. Their focus in empowering riders and horse welfare on Prince Edwards Island is something we are excited to assist in delivering.”

Rupert May

Co-Founder, HorseReg

“We are pleased to partner with HorseReg as our new partner in our registration system software. Their system promises to offer our members an efficient and user friendly membership application process, alleviating some of the time strain on our volunteer run organization. We look forward to  launching their membership registration system for our  2021 membership year and are looking forward to building a collaborative relationship with them to serve the Island Equestrian community.”

John McAssey

President, Island Horse Council
