Dressage PEI is excited to present this training opportunity with Canadian Olympian Tom Dvorak, aimed at our competitive riders at First Level and above. This clinic is made possible thanks to Island Horse Council high performance athlete development grant.
The clinic includes two private lessons, lunch, and stabling. Riders are required to participate in the clinic on both days and are strongly encouraged to attend all rides in the clinic to take full advantage of this learning opportunity.
Cost per horse/rider pair is $350
Auditing is FREE for DPEI members, $30/day for non-members. Fostering a positive learning environment is a priority, we ask auditors be respectful of horses and riders putting themselves out there to learn and improve! Please bring your own chair.
Applications for riders will open via google form March 1 – link will be available at www.dressagePEI.ca. Selected riders will be contacted directly and spot confirmed upon receipt of payment.
Riders that meet the following high performance criteria will be accepted on a first come, first served basis:
1. Memberships: EC Gold, IHC, DPEI
2. Active EC horse recording
3. Intention to compete at First Level or higher at EC Gold dressage shows in 2025
4. Prior experience at EC Gold dressage competitions
5. EC Rider Level 8 (or comparable horsemanship skills) is recommended
6. A yearly training plan is required – see website for template examples
The clinic is only open to riders currently living and training in PEI, but we welcome auditors and friends from throughout the maritimes to share this experience.
We look forward to kicking off the 2025 season with you!
